The 20th Annual Poodle Parade at the Santa Barbara French Festival
The famous promenade of fluffy French poodles Sunday, July 13 at 5:30 p.m. Costumed poodles welcome. Bring your camera!

Dogs and their owners may participate in the parade at no charge, and participants receive a certificate suitable for framing. This event is just for fun, so no prizes will be awarded. Costumed and decorated poodles are especially welcome.

Mayor Marty Blum, Santa Barbara's Madame Mayor, leads off the Poodle Parade, a local tradition.

Volunteer at the Animal Shelter
Students can earn community hours by volunteering at the local animal shelters. If your child is under the age requirement a parent can volunteer with the student. How fun is that?! Each shelter has a class program to learn how to handle the animals before volunteering. Call or details and age requirements.
